Web poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is akin to your original ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus a sum in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
