Poker has become globally famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players acquire 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up money equal to your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
