Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker competitor on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked professionals. He was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to New Jersey before his first birthday. His papa taught Phil one cent-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From that point on, he was addicted to poker and wished to learn every little thing he possibly could about the game. He made a decision to take his game to the next level and moved out west to Las Vegas. Phil continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players in the world. Ivey credits his success to dedication and an immeasurable passion for poker. Phil says that he is picking up skills every day and is incredibly humble about his achievements. He admits to making mistakes in each session of poker and always aspires to get better.
Despite the fact that Phil has won some large tournaments, he likes destroying cash games on a normal basis.
